Well, that went by fast

It's a good thing that recording everything important is not left to me. I did lots of interesting professional development stuff since the last time (almost 1 year ago) I blogged, but I'm not so interested in recording it all now.

I'm excited about using standards based grading this year in Chemistry, as far as our system allows. We still have to report a grade at the end, but we (the other Chemistry teachers and I) should be able to focus our teaching and the students' learning more productively using this method. We have about 40 class sessions per semester, so every lesson has to be carefully considered.
